Should step-dad and step-grandpa wear a flower like everyone else?

My daughter is getting married and my husband of 4 yrs will be escorting me down the aisle. I feel he should wear a flower the same as the brides father and the grooms father. My daughter says no. The grooms grandma is remarried and her new husband will be escorting her down the aisle, they bride and groom do not want to buy him a flower to wear either. I feel anyone involved in the wedding should be wearing flowers regardless if they are step or biological. What do you think????
