Why am I so worried about death? please help.?
It is a fact that people do not live forever. Enjoy your time with family members, so that, you will have no regrets. Probably, your family doesn't approach this topic openly, so it is frightening, as if it were taboo. Whereas, in some families, everything is planned, hospital care, cemetery plots, living wills, grave stones, etc. The topic is an open book. The papers are in order. Regular visits to the cemetery to leave flowers for those who have passed is a ritual. You are worrying yourself over a natural process. Each year, the leaves dry up in the higher latitudes, flowers die, bees die for their queen, birds die. For every animal, there is a time and a season, and life goes on, as a process. In some cultures, ancestors are celebrated during holidays, old people are revered and respected. Spend time with your grandmother while you can, and be content with that. Don't obsess over something about which you have no control. If you need help with pre grieving, see a counselor or therapist for discussing this topic freely, or begin a dialogue with your parents and/or fiance.
