Can't think of this word?

My friend said it earlier when I made a really bad pun.. It ends in -y, and it's like.. complimentary...cursory. AGH something like that! And anyways, it was sarcastic, and she said '-------y laugh on Aisle 3.' It was a really, really bad pun. So I think it meant 'necessary' or something where she felt obligated to laugh because she was my friend.
